Using a map...or just setting out!

We went to NYC last weekend to meet our newest grandchild. (Grandparenting has definitely been enhanced by web2 technology: video chat, sharing ideas and plans in real time, access to blogs and wikis - some valuable, some not as - with real experiences as the info source.) We had lots of free time so we just prowled the city with no plan in mind or map in hand. Some wonderful serendipitious discoveries. I'm finding the same with web2: prowling unmapped is fun - but consulting a tour guide might be a good idea when I get stuck or short on time! TTFN

The trek begins...

I'm a firm Web2 fan philosphically and functionally...but I just never ventured into the actual creative side of it. So - off I go! Pretty painless so far (or not far, actually) but, then, I'm only trying on hiking boots. I'll keep you posted!
